Welcome to the 2014/2015 Appletree Kids, Inc. School Year!
We are so glad to have you with us this school year, it’s going to be a
year of exciting new things that I know you are going to love!
Let’s start with the new stuff…
New Programs! - This year, we have the honor of participating in the
Louisiana Early Childhood Education Act (Act 3) Pilot Program. This is an
initiative to combine the Department of Education, the Departments of Children
and Family Services and Health & Hospitals, along with the private Child
Care Center to ensure children are academically and developmentally prepared
for Kindergarten. We are very excited to see what a difference this is going to
make in the children we serve and happy to bring you into these new
partnerships.
New Stuff! - Throughout the year, we will be updating our facilities to
make sure your children are in the absolute best environment. Flooring,
fixtures, toys, and playgrounds will be updated to give your child everything
they deserve. (I think we are as excited as the kids are on this one!)
New Technology! - We are dedicated to helping you stay connected to your
kids even when you can’t be there. First, we brought you Peanut Butter &
Jelly TV Webcasting. You can watch your child from any internet enabled device,
anytime you want (and yes, there is an app for that!). And now, we are bringing you KidReports
Communications Solutions. It’s an easier way to stay connected with your kids
throughout the day – get real time notifications from the mobile app and
emailed daily reports. Appletree Kids, Inc. wants you to know your children are
safe, loved, and having fun! (coming approximate November 2015)
New Services! – How much do you think you spend per week on diapers to
bring to the center? We’ve found a company that will provide ALL the diapers
and pull-ups you need (and yes, we’ve tested them out at Kids Too for the last
several months and they are great!) for almost assuredly less than what you are
paying now. Be on the lookout for a new diaper service coming to Appletree Kids
soon, we want to save you money and save you time. (coming approximate December
2015)
New Rewards! – I know you all get asked the question “Where does your
child go to daycare?” and now we want to put money in your pocket when you
answer that question. Join our Referral Rewards program (don’t worry, everyone
is already in it) and earn Tuition Cash every time you refer a new enrolling
family. Earn up to $2,600 by referring 5 enrolling families!! Wow, that’s an
incentive to say “APPLETREE!” (see attached coupons for all the details)
Enrollment Policies…
Included in your enrollment packet, is the new Parent Handbook for you
to review. We’ve had several changes and we want to make sure you have all of
the current information.
Our rate structure for the 2014/2015 School Year
will be as follows:
Infants and One Year Olds $135/week
Two and Three Year Olds $130/week
Four and Five Year Olds $125/week
Before School Only (Kids Too only) $25/week
After School Only (Kids Too only) $60/week
Before and After School (Kids Too only) $65/week
We will have a Part Time Preschool program that is 8am-2pm Monday –
Friday for Four and Five Year Olds for $95/week at Appletree Kids.
We will also have a part time program that is 8am-2pm Monday – Friday
for Two and Three Year Olds for $100/week at Kids Too.
And *NEW* this year, our “Mommy Time” program. It is offered only at
Kids Too. It is for all ages, it is 9am-12pm Monday – Friday. Infants and One
Year Olds are $60/week and Two and Three Year Olds are $50/week.
All prices are per child and per week, each week of the year. There are no
multi-child discounts, no credit for days closed, and no vacation credits.
Each enrollment is contracted for the 2014/2015 school year, with an
early termination fee equal to one week of child care. (Replacing the “5 day
withdrawal notice”)
School year begins August 13th, 2014 and ends May 22nd ,2015. We will be closed on September 1st,
2014 for Labor Day; November 27th and 28th, 2014 for
Thanksgiving; December 24th and 25th, 2014 for Chirstmas;
January 1st, 2015 for New Years Day; and April 3rd, 2015
for Good Friday. We will also be closed two additional days for Teacher In
Service, to be announced at a later date.
The re-registration fee for the 2014/2015 school year is $50.
The supply fee for the 2014/2015 school year for THREE, FOUR, AND FIVE
YEAR OLDS ONLY is $50.
All registration and supply fees are due upon enrollment for the
2014/2015 school year.
Each family is required to work at least one fundraiser during the
2014/2015 school year.
Each family is required to have a valid email address; which is our
PRIMARY means of communication.
