Updates &  Information Tell someone about us:        Contact Us    |    Newsletters    |    Upcoming Events    |    Blog       Hi,          I wanted to take a moment to remind each of you that tuition is due every Monday for the current week - regardless of HOW you pay for tuition. Currently, if you are paying cash or check, it has to be received on Monday by the close of the day, or a $10/day late fee is assessed. If you are paying by Rapid Tuition (automatic withdrawal), it is withdrawn from your account on Thursday or Friday. Lately there seems to be confusion on some of our Rapid Tuition accounts where there is the assumption that the tuition is not due until Friday, thus causing several Rapid Tuition accounts to be returned due to insufficient funds. To avoid insufficient fund fees on your end, and on our end, and to hopefully avoid further confusion - we will be collecting ALL tuition on Monday when it is due regardless of how it is being paid. This will begin two weeks from now on Monday, July 14th. This is not a change in policy, since tuition has always been due on Monday, but rather streamlining our accounting efforts and having all accounts, regardless of payment type, pay tuition on the same day. I apologize in advance if this causes any inconvenience since the hope is that this will avoid any inconveniences in the future and ensure everyone has a clear understanding of our accounting policies. ALL returned payment fees - whether check or credit card - are subject to a $20 NSF fee. Thank you in advance for your understanding and your patience as we try to get everyone on the same schedule. We have rescheduled it for Thursday, July 17, 2014.  Closed July 4th  We will be CLOSED, Friday July 4, For Independence Day!  Contest Month!  We will be having a contest all month long. Every Online Review you give us your name will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Olive Garden Gift Card. The winner will be announced July 29,2014 on National Lasagna Day!  Doors will be closed 9am-3pm Yes, you read that correctly Appletree Kids, Inc and Kids Too and Adventure Camp will be closing there doors from 9am-3pm. Some parents have been concerned of the accessibilty to the general public. Sunglasses help prevent the sun from burning your eyes! Summer supplies include swimsuit, towel, flip-flops, and an extra set of clothes. Remember all of this STAYS AT DAYCARE until Summer is over! We will still be collecting the items until the end of the Summer. Our Summer field trips have been going excellent and rememeber if you are ever wanting to know where your child/children will be going in the weeks to come you can see them all on the Parent Calendar.http://appletreekidsinc.com/calendar.html Adventure Camp Parents you are more than welcome to accompany your child on any field trip. We would love to have you with us!    Father's Day Facts  Remember, Father's Day is Sunday June 15, 2014. Here are a few little interesting facts about Father's Day!  The first Father's day on record was June 19, 1910. It was created by Washington's State, Sonora Dodd for his father William Smart. William Smart was Civil War veteran and raised his six children as a single father. Why June? That was the month of his birthday. Father's Day wasn't recognized until 1966 thanks to President Lyndon Johnson, who designated the third Sunday of June to be Father's Day. Here are some reminders.     Please remember that we do have our field trips for Adventure Summer Day Camp and Ms. Yvette's Mini Camp up and on the Parent Calendar if you are interested in looking.  http://appletreekidsinc.com/calendar.html  Summer Supplies   If you have not brought your childs summer supplies please do so ASAP! We are asking that each parent sign their child/children up for the field trips on Monday and also pay the dues(if any) on Monday! This helps us out on knowing if we need to rent a larger vehicle!  Adventure Camp Parents  We would love for you to accompany us on any field trip you would like to attend. If you are wanting to attend any of our field trips please get with a staff member for more information! You will also have to sign up and pay by Monday along with the students!  Donations  We are still collecting donations for our art projects this Summer. If you have anything to donate please put it in the box's located at each center! Thank You!  THINGS YOU CAN COLLECT AS YOU USE THEM AT YOUR HOUSE: Empty toilet paper and paper towel tubes QUICKLY (and lots of them!) - we have activities planned in a few days with them Empty long Kleenex boxes QUICKLY - we have activities planned in a few days with them Old Newspapers QUICKLY - we have activities planned in a few days with them Empty water bottles - lots of them Empty dish detergent bottles - or any similar squeeze bottles Plastic container lids - like the one off the butter, sour crème, etc. THINGS THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE AROUND THE HOUSE THAT YOU NO LONGER WANT OR NEED: Snorkels, fins, goggles Buckets (clean) Sheets Blankets Tarps Water Play Toys and Equipment (sprinklers, water hoses, slip n slides, baby pools, water guns, etc.) Outdoor Games (hula hoops, washers, balls of any and all kinds, ladderball, Frisbees, etc) "Carnival" Type Games (ring toss, duck pond, darts, etc.) Any "dress up" clothes Any yarn, strings, or material Thanks for reading!
