Let's take a moment to welcome the Fall season and all its glory.....  Not too hot, not too cold weather approaching. Pumpkin decorations. Football getting more intense (Saints 1-2, LSU 3-1 BTW). Leaves changing color and creating wonderful scenery. Gumbo!... Ahhhhhh. Okay, back to business! (: GRANDPARENT'S BREAKFAST All grandparents welcome to have a sit down breakfast with their grandkid(s) in honor of September being Grandparent's month!  Our grandparent's breakfast will be held at each center on Wednesday, Sept 24 at 8am. Please join us!  PARENT DATE NIGHT It's that time again! Parent Date Night will be this Friday, September 26. From 6:30pm-9:30pm the wonderful teachers of Appletree Kids and Kids Too will help you get a few hours to yourself!  This is just one of our ways to give back to you. WOW!  Time flies! Thank you for all your support throughout the years.  We appreciate each one of you! Did you pick up a  copy of our new menus? We have new healthy menus at Appletree Kids and Kids Too.  Make sure you get a copy to see what changes we have made for the better!                              Talk Like a Pirate Day Friday, September 19 is a fun chance to mix things up!  Send your little ones to us with their best pirate talk!  But, we're going to take "Talk Like a Pirate Day" one step further and ask you to send them in their best pirate outfits also!  In celebration with September being National Grandparent's month, Appletree Kids and Kids Too will be hosting a  Grandparent's Breakfast on Wednesday, September 24!  Here's what we need: We need you to let grandparents know to come by for breakfast with us! September is National Nutrition month so what better time to introduce you to our new healthy menus?  We will be shaking up the menus a little to a more healthy alternative.  The meals will still be hot and delicious with an added bonus of healthy!                             National 5-A-Day Week  5-A-Day week is about starting the healthy habit of  5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.   Help your kids learn healthy eat habits!                                                                       We'll have fresh fruit at AKI & Kids Too for the  taking to celebrate National 5-A-Day Week. Also, a copy of the new menus will be available!  So, what's coming up in September? 09/10 - National Grandparent's Day 09/12 - National Cream Filled Donuts Day 09/13 - Ms. Tisha's Birthday! 09/24 - Grandparent's Breakfast 09/26 - Parent's Night Out  Thanks for reading!
